Knights Men's are planning to implement new initiatives that are important for the teams success and to improve the supporters experience. These will include; a new kit, half time entertainment, live streaming, a team shop, and local business relationships.
WHAT THE FUNDS ARE FOR
The team is run/managed by current players and volunteers, and is financially sustained through player fees and a few local sponsors. The financial cost to run the club for a season is approximately £10,000 (£1000 per month over a 10 month season).
Unfortunately, this cannot be sustained through player fees alone and we need your help to keep our successful club going.
Funds raised will be used initially to finance a live stream set up, which is a requirement for competing in Division 2. This will include cameras, cables, monitors, microphones, and a system to provide a professional sports stream for our fans. We will be working with volunteers and work experience students to help coordinate the live streaming of all Knights Men's home games. This partnership will provide valuable experience for young media students to get involved in live production. The live stream will include multi-camera angles, commentators, interviews and promotions for sponsors and local businesses. Any additional funds raised will be allocated to facility hire, coaching, travel and equipment, all without which, the team would not be able to function.
We have asked for £1500, but any extra will be used to help fund new initiatives and help
support us in making Knights Men's a successful and entertaining Division 2 team.
