Knights Captain and Team Manager Aaron Bastian Moseley moving on

Written by Aaron Bastian Moseley:

It’s always tough to leave somewhere that you have been so attached to for so long.

It’s with a heavy heart to say that after this season is complete, I will be leaving Knights Men’s Basketball Team to begin a new chapter of my life in Manchester.

I have been with the Knights Men’s team since its inception in the National League in 2017. Out of all the clubs I have played for over the years, Knights is the one I have been most heavily involved in. I have met some great players and made some great friendships that will last a lifetime. I hope the success of Knights continues moving forward.

I would like to thank Coach Isaac for his help and support over the years. We have been friends for so long and playing with, and for him has been a great ride! Thanks to all the Knights Men’s players over the years for making the team as successful as it is today and to James Merchant for helping to make this team possible.

A big thanks to our sponsors and volunteers who have supported us over the years. We also couldn’t have made it this far without the fans and spectators, I appreciate all of your support.

Thanks to my family for their support over the years in my basketball journey. Last but certainly not least, thanks to my wife Phylicia for the years of helping out with the team and travelling the country as my biggest cheerleader.

I hope to see you all in the near future!

We have 2 home games over the last week of the season so I hope I will get to see as many familiar faces at home games and have the chance to say goodbye.

I would like to take this opportunity also to ask if anyone is interested in volunteering as a joint manager of the Knights Men's team to get in contact ( knightsmensbasketball@gmail.com ) as there will be help needed going forwards into the 2022/23 season.

Knight Family thank you for everything!
